Open Plans for Laser-Cut Temples
This GitHub repository contains the blueprints, music, and instruction for replicating a set of temples I created for a local festival.
Music was authored with wide stereo separation, such that each temple plays a different set of instruments for the same music tracks. This creates a different soundscape at each location, while also providing a combined experience while standing in-between.
Temple of Invitation
Attendees were able to write things they wanted to invite more of into their life on slate tiles. These were hung on the walls of the temple during the event, and later taken home as gifts.
Temple of Release
Attendees were invited to write what they wanted to let go of on the temple. Regrets, fears, negative mindsets, etc.
On the last day of the event, the temple was burned.
